Astrophysics I
Astrophysics I is a lecture in the first year of graduate studies of astronomy. I teach it in Polish but on students' request it can also be delivered in English. The lecture is generally based on the book by Budding and Demircan An introduction to astronomical photometry with some input from other sources.
There are many complimentary materials on the web which I can recommend for this lecture:
- An Introduction
to Astronomical Photometry Using CCDs by William Romanishin
- ASTRONOMICAL TECHNIQUES by Robert O'Connell
- CORRECTING FOR THE EFFECTS OF INTERSTELLAR EXTINCTION Fitzpatrick (1999) PASP 111, 63-75
I have also helpful texts, which due to the copyright issues I cannot make freely available. The access is thus limited only to my students
