DETERMINATION OF THE GEOSTATIONARY OBJECTS ORIENTATION ON THE BASIS OF THE QUASISYNCHRONOUS OBSERVATION

The possibility to determine the geostationary object orienta- tion by the results of the quasisynchronous observation has been considered. Such possibility is demonstrated by the results of the positional observations (Uzgorod) and by B, V, R - photometry (Cri- mea) of three satellites. The obtained results made it possible to select phase function which best correlates with the real curve of the brightness of the investigated satellite. Well selected phase function gives possibility to determine the form of the object and its orientation.
