Determination of Precession and Galactic Rotation from the Proper Motions of the PPM

The rotational parameters of the Local stellar system are derived from proper motions of the GC reduced into fundamental systems of catalogues N30, FK4 and FK5. A weak dependence of the parameters on the choice of the fundamental system is found. Rotation of stars of different spectral types is investigated. The most likely geometrical and kinematical descriptions of the Local system are made. The results obtained from the radial velocities do not contradict to the ones derived from the proper motions and may be considered as an evidence of the existence of the Local Star system.
