The progress of astronomical observations stimulates the development of rigorous relativistic theories of motion of celestial bodies, and to develop techniques that enable more accurate tests of different theories of gravitation. The present work aims at: (1) Developing a solution to the main problem of artificial satellite theory in the framework of the PPN approximation. (2) To evaluate the effects caused by gravitational waves on such satellites. The metric will be formed including the perturbations due the earth's gravity and due to the wave, the equations of motion will be formed including both effects, and then these equations will be solved to find the combined effects of both perturbations retaining terms up to O(v/c)power 5 where v is the mean speed of the satellite and c is the speed of light.
